To use the tongue scraper:
Gently press the scraper against the back of your mouth. Start as far back as you can. If you struggle with a gag reflex, initially avoid placing the scraper too far back in your mouth.
Slowly pull the scraper forward toward the tip of your tongue. Use enough pressure to remove debris from your tongue but not so much pressure as to be painful.
Repeat to ensure you have scraped the full surface of your tongue. You may go over the same area 1-2 times as needed to remove all residue.
After use, wipe debris from the scraper and wash it with soapy water.
